Mithi is the capital city of Tharparkar district in southwestern Sindh, in a beautiful, large, arid region of Thar Desert.

“Mithi” The another city of lights in Sindh. Mithi is a Beautiful City of THAR District. Mithi can be reached easily on bikes, cars and Buses as well. Mithi is some 150 km in distance from Mirpur Khas on Mirpur Khas - Digri Road which later merges with Naukot-Mithi Road. There is a famous place to visit is “GADHI BHIT”. GADHI BHIT is by far the only attraction in town thus is most visited and popular site of the town. It is the highest elevation point of the town built on a sandhill and gives a breathtaking panoramic view of the Mithi town. The desert Mountain above which is a Beautiful park and a Restaurants. People’s love to visit there to enjoy the nature of THAR.

 

Our Journey

After the visit of Dargah RAAZI SHAH and the NAUKOT FORT we decided to go Mithi to Visit the GADHI BHIT but before started the remaining ride to GADHI BHIT, MITHI we did our launch at THAR CAFÉ we ate Daal and Mushroom with Chapati. Mushroom is the Most famous vegetable at Tharparkar side because we just get this vegetable in Rain Season. After the launch we started our ride to mithi. If you are just 70 or 120km away from “MITHI” then just prefer to visit this place on bikes. Because in rain season you will definatly see the greenery on Sandhill from the entrance of tharparkar to the end of nagger. You can get this beauty Of Thar Deserts just on bikes. After the hours of riding we finally reached to our location of the day. The “GADHI BHIT” the breath taking view from Gadhi Bhit is we can take a view of Whole Mithi City From the Gadhi Bhit because Gadhi Bhit is Build on a sand hill in Mithi City and This lovely view is hard to take only at night because all the lights in the houses are on. We stayed there like for couple of hours then we left to our Next destination.
